Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights activist and charity philanthropist. An alumni of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her extensive and impressive career in the fields of human rights and international law have won her international acclaim. The most notable clients she has worked with are various nations, including Armenia that is seeking to force the Turkish government to acknowledge that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney arranged for American actor George Clooney to marry him in the year 2014 and immediately became a household name in pop media. Years before this though she was already famous and loved in the legal world as a lawyer who consistently represents clients with skill and great success. From tackling human and social rights concerns, to representing several multi-national corporations in court proceedings and negotiations concerning the regulations of government. As of 2015, she was a barrister, which is a kind of legal representative in British courts at London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
