Aisling Bea
Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian who has been around for a long time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. She appeared with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as her stage title Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actress, writer and comedian. Bea was first seen as part of the cast on Irish or British TV shows in 2009, began her career as a stand-up comedian in the year 2011. By 2012 she was regularly being featured on sketch comedy programs as well as sitcoms. In the wake of her success in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel show. In 2016 through 2017, she served as a captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant in the show's follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. In 2012 she won the So You Think You're Funny Award for the second time. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide when she was just three years old. But, she did not learn the cause of her death until she was 13 years old. In 2017 she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and adopted her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea was raised with her sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and former professional racer. The family was awed by horses, races and racing. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry wasn't for her.
